This is a brand new role where you will be part of the Executive team and be overall responsible for Fox’s purchasing activities and be part of the procurement integration “journey” supporting Fox’s with the Fine Biscuits Company.


As the Procurement Director, you are responsible for leading and executing the sourcing of local categories, supporting the strategic sourcing activities for Central Categories and managing the implementation of strategic procurement projects. You will successfully integrate procurement, indirect, ingredients and packaging category savings within Fox’s budget planning.

You will ensure that SLAs and KPIs for purchasing categories are delivered and respected as well as managing all contracts, reviewing success and improving their utilisation. You will ensure the right process governance and guarantee that procurement policies are formalised.

You will support your internal customers, being the main point of contact for any purchasing related requests or escalations. This role is also the main contact for key, high profile external customers. An additional key relationship will be with your suppliers to continuously build upon these to generate value for both Fine Biscuits Company and the suppliers.

A key responsibility of this role is to facilitate and coordinate the local implementation of purchasing Fine Biscuits Company guidelines, supporting the interaction between local structures and the Group Functions.

As part of this brand new role, you will be responsible for a small team, coaching and developing them to be seen as experts in their fields.

  • Extensive experience within purchasing in an FMCG environment
  • Solid experience in procurement negotiation, project management, sourcing and cost analysis processes
  • Knowledgeable about external market place and supplier capabilities within FMCG (ingredients & packaging, indirects)
  • Procurement process development and implementation skills
  • Knowledgeable about supplier relationship management processes
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Knowledge of ERP processes and systems
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Analytical, conceptual, pragmatic and result oriented
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Focused on best practice sharing
